Customers at a Spirit Halloween store in Plano, Texas were in for a surprise when a pet monkey escaped from its owner after being frightened by a store display.
Police bodycam video showed the animal swinging from the ceiling as staff spent more than half an hour trying to get it down.
The owner explained that the monkey ran off after being scared, and it was soon reunited with her. Police confirmed it wasn’t injured and posed no threat to anyone.
