Mourners gathered at a makeshift memorial in the Swiss ski resort town of Crans-Montana following a deadly fire at a crowded bar during New Year celebrations.
Police said around 40 people were killed and more than 100 injured when the blaze tore through the venue as revellers welcomed the new year.
Flowers and candles were laid at the site as residents, firefighters and visitors paid tribute to the victims.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the fire while the community observes a period of mourning.
